We've used Highland Contractors several times over our 11 years living in Rochester, and this review is to highlight the recent work of Scott & Darrell with repairing some siding on our house, and then some repairs to our front doorframe -- very high quality workmanship, good intuition about the best approach to repairs, reasonable and easy-going, and good about communicating all throughout the project. Also a shout out to Phil the owner of Highland Contractors for superior customer service. He helped navigate an issue I was having with our final invoice -- he and Samantha in Production made sure all was reconciled appropriately and that I was happy. In the era of big box stores and anonymous interactions, this truly felt like a family-owned, local, relationship-building experience. We will call on Highland Contractors again!

We have a three season room that was outdated, leaking and falling apart. Highland was the only contractor that either called me back or would do a partial roof replacement ad part of the job. Our salesman was Chad. He was professional and took time to explain any questions we had. We weren't in a rush to have the work done, and the only delay was for materials, specifically windows. That's not the fault of Highland.
The crew we were assigned was great. Day 1 the roofers did their thing while Kendall and Edwin started demo. These two guys were the stars. Kendall was the lead and walked us through everything he was doing and seeing. The original construction was from the 60's and poorly updated in 1980. Their craftsmanship was top notch and the tougher out some pretty hot days. I have and will continue to recommend Highland to others.
